Home At Last Campaign
Everyone deserves a safe home, and that was the vision behind the YWCA’s largest capital project to-date, Home at Last. In 2017, the YWCA launched the ambitious $23 million campaign to build affordable housing in downtown Tacoma. The now established Dorothy I. Height Apartments consist of 54 beautiful apartments for homeless families and survivors of domestic violence with very low income. It also includes 4,000 sq. ft. of program space, allowing us to expand our counseling program in the coming years.
