Donations to the YWCA Pierce County allow us to continue our life saving work with survivors of domestic violence in our community. Because of your support, we are able to offer a comprehensive array of services that create healing for people starting new lives free of violence and full of hope. Thank you on behalf of the YWCA Pierce County and the families we serve.
“We truly appreciate everything the YWCA and many people do for us on a daily basis. When we were living with our abuser, we were dying and now we live each day to its fullest, always remembering it wasn’t always like this. But so much has been given to us since we have left. We would not be a success story without every person in our life helping us on a daily basis. The statistics are so very high of those that go back and I truly believe we would be one of those if we didn’t have people that love us and continue to support us every day. Stepping out the door is hard, but staying out is even harder without support.”

Have you considered multiplying the impact of your gift? Giving monthly is a win, win. Our clients win because your support is dependable and you win by feeling a sense of pride that you are helping provide safety for them. We do the work by deducting your gift every month and you receive an email from our CEO sharing a story that illustrates the impact of your gift. Just check the box on the form that says you want to make your gift have a monthly impact.

Any gift to the YWCA can be made in honor or memory of someone important to you. Simply include the following information with your gift: Specify whether the gift is an honorary or memorial gift, include the name of the person you wish to recognize or remember, and include the name and address to which you would like an acknowledgment letter mailed. We won't include the amount of your gift in the acknowledgement, but we will note that a gift was made in honor or in memory of someone.
Tribute gifts are meaningful ways to make an impact through your giving, share your belief in the YWCA’s work, and honor or remember someone special. Consider making a tribute instead of buying a present for someone's next birthday or for the holidays.
