About Insights Support Group

support group 2.jpg

Our Insights Support Groups are weekly, virtual facilitated sessions designed for survivors of intimate partner violence to learn to identify different types of abuse, understand the impacts of intimate partner violence, and develop healthy relationships while embracing self-care and compassion. This is a 12-week session of groups every Wednesday from 5:30-7:00pm and is open to all intimate partner violence survivors; whether you are just beginning to recognize your relationship as controlling or abusive, or you have been out of an abusive relationship for a long time, you are welcome to join at any stage of healing.

  • What topics are covered in Insights Support Group? In our virtual Insights support group, the topics covered include understanding and defining abuse, recognizing the cycle of abuse, exploring the impact of intimate partner violence, and learning practical safety strategies as a survivor. We also focus on building healthy boundaries, creating and maintaining supportive relationships, and practicing self-care to strengthen resilience.
