Home at Last Campaign
Everyone deserves a safe home. That was the vision behind YWCA’s largest capital project to date, Home at Last. Launched in 2017, the ambitious $23 million campaign aimed to build affordable housing in downtown Tacoma. The result is the beautiful Dorothy I. Height Apartments, which consist of 54 units for homeless families and survivors of domestic violence with very low incomes. The building also includes 4,000 sq. ft. of program space, allowing YWCA to expand its counseling program in the coming years.
