Comprehensive Legal Support

Our team of legal advocates and attorney provide free civil legal advocacy, representation, and referrals to survivors of domestic violence in Pierce County. These services increase the chances of permanently and safely ending domestic violence relationships and establishing lives free of violence.

Legal Issues We Assist With YWCA Pierce County's Legal Program can help with a wide variety of legal issues related to domestic violence, including:

  • Divorce/Legal Separation

  • Child Custody/Parenting Plans

  • Child Support

  • Spousal Maintenance

  • Modifications

  • Contempt

  • Paternity

  • Address Confidentiality Program

  • Protection Orders

Legal Issues We Do Not Assist With Unfortunately, we cannot assist with the following types of legal issues:

  • Third Party Custody

  • Dependency/CPS Cases
