YWCA Housing Program
About Our Housing Program
The YWCA Housing Program provides supportive services aimed at promoting healing and achieving economic and personal self-sufficiency. Leaving an abusive relationship often results in sudden homelessness for many survivors and their children, which takes time to overcome.
Long-Term Affordable Housing
In partnership with the Pierce County Housing Authority, YWCA Pierce County offers long-term affordable housing, giving survivors the time and support needed to rebuild their lives and achieve self-sufficiency.

Comprehensive Support Services
Our housing program offers a wide range of flexible and individualized services to meet the unique needs of survivors and their children. We focus on self-determination, supporting each participant to choose the best course of action for their family.
Services Include:
Safety Planning: Personalized plans to ensure safety and well-being.
Advocacy: Ongoing support and representation.
Case Management: Assistance with setting and achieving personal goals.
Referrals: Connections to counseling, employment, child care, legal assistance, support groups, and more.
