Insights Support Groups
Our support groups are weekly facilitated groups for survivors of Intimate Partner Violence, intended to offer healing, education, and peer support. We believe that knowledge is power and that developing a positive support network is a key step in the healing process. In our Insights Support Group, participants will have the opportunity to explore how to identify different types of abuse, the short- and long-term impacts of intimate partner violence, building healthy relationships, embracing self-care and -compassion, and building community with fellow survivors.
Our Support Groups are offered to all Shelter and Community Clients who are searching for support in healing from Intimate Partner Violence. All of our groups are strictly confidential, aiding in peace of mind while on your healing journey. Some participants may be just beginning to realize their current relationship is controlling or abusive, while some may have been out of their abusive relationship for a long period of time, all are welcome no matter your stage in healing.
